We are so excited to host our annual Edcamp NBCT in the beautiful city of Mobile. Enjoy the sites of this historic venue in addition to joining us at this exciting day for free, participant-driven professional development. Tickets are going fast for this event, so be sure to register TODAY!. 

Edcamp NBCT is an annual event that provides educators an opportunity to grow professionally while sharing our expertise with fellow NBCTs and candidates. Edcamp NBCT will open up dialogues among accomplished practitioners making all of us stronger in our roles working and supporting the education of every student. Through our dialogues we'll learn ways to advocate for teachers and students, while we encourage recruitment of NBCT candidates and provide candidate support. Furthermore, we will share and hone our best practices to better engage all students in their learning. This event is open nationwide for all NBCTs and NBCT candidates. Lunch and snacks will be provided, as well as lots of great door prizes!

Meet Your ALNBCT Network Board of Directors: Angela Clark, Public Relations Officer









Angela Clark serves as the District Technology Program Specialist for Shelby County Schools. SHe serves as Public Relations Officer for the Alabama NBCT Network Board. She has been an educator for 24 years and was a classroom teacher for 16 years, teaching both middle and high school during that time. She earned National Board Certification in AYA Social Studies in 2001 and renewed in 2010.

In 2011 she stepped into a new role for her district as a Technology Resource Teacher. During that time she had many valuable opportunities to expand her knowledge of instructional technology and develop her skills as a leader. She has provided support for 5 first-time NBCT candidates and several colleagues going through the renewal process.

She received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Mississippi State University and taught business and technology courses for many years. She also holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and in 2016, received her Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Montevallo.

She is passionate about empowering teachers to design a technology-rich learning environment that engages every child and encourages students to grow and reach their highest potential.
